The Sacco brothers learned the springmaking business when they became apprenticed to Henderson’s Spring Works in 1969. Joe Seisun, the third working Director, met the Sacco brothers when he joined Henderson’s in the early 1970’s.
The three Directors left Henderson’s Springs to commence their own business as a partnership in November 1979. Rented premises were obtained in Braybrook and the business continued to grow. In 1984 the Braybrook premises were purchased and the Southern Division commenced operations in rented premises at Moorabbin.
Also in 1984 Henderson’s Springs decided to quit the cold coiling of springs and S & S Springs (still a partnership) acquired that part of Henderson’s business.
In 1987 the business was incorporated.
By 1988 the business had outgrown the Braybrook premises. Land was acquired in Tottenham and a spacious new factory was built. The business has continued to expand and now employs nine people.
